13th Day Chains United Relay Race

To begin the 13th day where he started in Charleston, Deren had bike technical difficulties which caused an hour delay to the start. Towards of the end of the ride it started to rain so we found Deren and we sat in the van for the rain to pass. The rain did not stop, it kept going for two hours. After the rain cleared and Deren was going to continue, a massive lighting bolt struck about 400 meters away from us so we decided to call it for the day. After that we decided to go to a restaurant in McClellanville called T W Graham. The owner felt touched by our goal and he related to it so he donated a significant amount of money to our cause.
