Chains United Relay, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (Wheels for Tomorrow)

The inaugural Chains United Relay Event.

This all began with an idea high school junior, Deren, had for cyclists to come together to raise funds for cancer prevention charities. His research revealed 3 charities that shared the same goal: American Institute for Cancer Research, Silent Spring Institute, and Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The event begins in Miami and participants cycle in a relay (15-50 miles per segment) with 1 team lead, a group of team members, and Deren. Riders of all backgrounds come together to support prevention research as many of us have been deeply affected by cancer.

Deren's mission: "This relay is deeply personal to me. I am passionate about cycling and healthy living, specifically the importance of pure ingredients and the safety of the materials used in our food production and storage. By supporting research into how our environment and nutrition affect long-term health, I hope to contribute to a future where prevention of cancer is the primary focus. I hope to help change the story for other families, so fewer people have to face the loss we experienced with my grandma."
